In a previous post we introduced you to one of our previous volunteers, Marc, who felt so inspired by his experience with us he set up his own NGO dedicated to the early care of children, called "Early Care Intervention Program”
ECIP’s mission is to improve early childhood conditions in refugee camps and support children to overcome their potential trauma. Marc’s dream is to improve the development of as many children between ages 2-5 growing up in refugee camps, and to give them a fair chance at overcoming their psychological shocks.
ECIP and I AM YOU have now established a Partnership where ECIP bring Qualified Pre-School Teacher personnel to plan I AM YOU’s Early Childhood Development Project and train incoming volunteers.
The result? Children attending Pre-school in Ritsona camp are getting better care and support.
